Overview

The Asian Exercise and Sport Science Journal (AESSJ) is a journal in the sports science area. This journal is available in an online format and the full text is free to download.

AESSJ is publishing high-quality research in Sports Science Area. This journal is in 4 sections as the following:

1- Original Article:
This is the main section and most articles are published in this area.

2- Review (Maximum 2 articles per issue):
High qualities review articles from authors with enough experience in the field of research submitted will be published in this journal.

3- Case Study (Maximum 1 article per issue):
Now we are publishing only high-quality and powerful case study research per issue.

4- Letter to Editor (Maximum 1 article per issue)

 

If the editor decides that an article is suitable then it will enter the peer-review process. For AESSJ journals this means double-blind peer review. The editor selects usually two (but sometimes as many as four) independent reviewers who research or practice in the same area as the author and are subject specialists.

 

Steps for Article Submission: (Maximum 6 weeks for review result)

  • Registration on the journal website
  • Preparing article according to journal template: http://journal.aesasport.com/AESAJournaltemplate.docx
  • Preparing and signing the PUBLISHED STATEMENT OF INFORMED CONSENT form
  • Submitting manuscripts on the online system by log-in in at the website.
  • Receiving confirmation from the journal editor.

At this time the journal has a 40% to 60% reject rate.

Formats

Articles typically in AESSJ are not limited to words. Generally, 8 to 12 figures may accompany the text. You are encouraged to send high-resolution electronic versions of photographs and drafts of figures with your article. single-spaced in one-column journal format. If your article is accepted, an editor of the journal will be assigned to work with you and you will be asked to check illustrations and editorial revisions to ensure that accuracy is maintained.  You need to make all minor corrections before your article becomes online. We always looking to provide the best qualities article for our readers. This will help your article to have more citations.

Manuscripts and articles are accepted electronically and should upload on an online form at our website. We are not able to accept submissions by posting or email. The editors prefer text to be in rich text format (word); image files may be JPEG, TIF, EPS, or PDF.

Please spell out all units of measurement and explain any unusual measurement units.  Include the first name and the institutional affiliation of anyone mentioned in the text. AESSJ editors require that bibliographic notes appear at the end of the text, rather than embedded. The Journal follows the  Vancouver style for bibliographical entries, except that all publication names should be spelled out. The reference manager software (Such as Endnote) should use for writing references. Please refer to the article template to find more information.
