Abstract

Sports gymnastics is a sport in which the results can not be measured by objective measurement instruments, but qualitative differentiation of success is done according to subjective grades of judges. The survey includes a sample of 40 students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport (FFViS), divided into three sub-samples of different chronological ages from 20 to 23 years. The aim of this research was to determine the reliable and valid application of analytical, synthetic and complex methods, and, based on the obtained results, to contribute to checking the degree of application of the indicated methods of training. On the basis of the obtained results, it can be concluded that after experimental procedures in the training of exercises on ground and vault (the overall effect), it is not possible to determine the suitability of the application either the analytical or synthetic method, and that their application is more convenient than the complex method. Also, the results obtained in the training of exercises on ground allow us to conclude that they are most suitable for training using the complex method, as the results show us, and that in the training of vault exercise, the most suitable method is analytical method.
