The Development of Manipulate Basic Movement Ability Elementary School’s Students at Low and High Ground Regions in Karanganyar Regency

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study background was to know about the development of manipulate basic movement ability elementary school’s students at low and high ground regions. The purpose of this study was to know the development of manipulate basic movement ability elementary school’s students to boy and girl students Sekolah Dasar Negeri Papahan 01 and Sekolah Dasar Negeri Tawangmangu 01 in Karanganyar Regegency, Central Java. The method of study used Cross-Sectional development method was the researcher did not need to maintain the subject researched in long time, but brought out new subjects that changed old subject from many age groups. The test instruments used Test of Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD-2) to know about manipulative basic movement in each age and gender. The result of the study that done to the boys 7-10 years old in high and low ground regions in Karanganyar regency showed the development of manipulative basic movement were boys in high ground region 7 years old was 43.42, 8 years old was 47.91, 9 years old was 52.62, and 10 years old was 61.66. Boys in low ground region, 7 years old was 43.70, 8 years old 47.84, 9 years old was 50.60, and 10 years old was 58.13. The study result of manipulative basic movement to the girls in high and low ground regions showed 7 years old was 40.72, 8 years old was 45.29, 9 years old was 50.22, and 10 years old was 58.12. Girls in low ground region were 7 years old was 43.60, 8 years old was 47.86, 9 years old was 51.56, and 10 years old was 56.75. The conclusion of this study that have been done was manipulative basic movement development boys and girls in low and high ground regions, both of them have consistence develop from low age to high age.
