Balance is very important for Judo. Judokas must guard the balance and don’t lose it. There is still a need for more studies related to this subjects. In this study, it was aimed to determine the effects of judo trainings on adolosence children on dynamic and static balance. The study consisted of randomly selected experimental group and control group a total of 50 students between 12-14 years. The experimental group has been practicing competition judo training for 3 days and 90 minutes for 8 weeks. The control group has been practicing basic judo training for 3 days and 90 minutes for 8 weeks. Another physical activity wasn’t applied. Pre-test and post-test measurements for the experimental and control groups were made statistically. In judo branch, balance, flexibility, vertical jump, body fat percentage, grip strength measurements and competition judo training and basic judo training exercises were pre-tested and after trainings, post-test measurements were performed to show physical performance. Statistically significant differences were found in the study group when the mean values of right hand grip, left hand grip strength, vertical jump, long jump, flexibility, flamingo balance and Y balance tests were compared (P<0.05). However, no statistically significant difference was found when the mean values of body fat measurement tests were compared (P<0.05). In conclusion, it can be said that the training in the competition judo training in the experimental group contributed to the sporty success and the positive effects on the balance systems between the 12-14 year old children.
